  1. What a lovely and tranquil setting! I sometimes have this kind of walk around the village as well. Some of the things I find have totally unexpected smells. 🙂
    By the way, those “lilies” might be a kind of Hippeastrum, commonly known as Amaryllis? They tend not to have strong fragrance. 🙂

    • I’m so glad to hear someone else is doing this too. Isn’t it wonderful to open up to the things that are right there around you and to discover such surprises! Thanks for the lily ID, I’ll check online, but that name sounds familiar. I brought one of the flowers inside yesterday and after a few hours it developed into an indolic mothball smell and got much stronger too!
